About
Background
Senior Embedded Linux & C++ Consultant for embedded products, Qt6/QML applications, and Yocto-based systems.
Based in Bregenz, Austria, my work focuses on embedded Linux, modern C++, Qt6/QML, and industrial protocols. I focus on embedded systems where reliability, performance, and maintainability are critical — from medical devices and laboratory equipment to industrial automation and IoT products.
I bring over a decade of experience delivering complex software projects.
I am interested in compilers and compiler design, and I am currently writing a book that teaches modern C++ through the use case of building a Pascal-like compiler (Turbo Pascal was my first programming language in school). I am also building a new OPC UA framework from scratch in modern C++. In my spare time, I experiment with ESP32, Zephyr RTOS, Arduino, and STM32 development boards.
